Age Restriction Notice: Brynok Scent Log is a private hobby journal application designed exclusively for adult users. All core functions including fragrance photo uploading, textual journal entry creation, personal data chart generation and historical record query are only accessible to users aged eighteen (18) or older. Persons under the age of 18 are strictly prohibited from accessing, registering and using this application in any scenario.

Service Brief Introduction: Tailored for candle and aromatherapy enthusiasts, Brynok enables users to upload photos of scented candles and aromatherapy products, write personalized scent experience journals, and automatically generate intuitive visualized data charts based on user recording habits, helping users track, organize and archive their daily aromatherapy usage preferences.

General Statement

This privacy disclosure document systematically elaborates the data processing standards, privacy protection measures and user related rights of Brynok. This clause applies to all users who access and use our scent journal recording services. Any behavior of downloading, registering and using the application shall be deemed that the user has fully understood and agreed to all terms stipulated in this policy. If you disagree with any part of the terms, please terminate your use of this service immediately.

1. Minor Service Prohibition

Considering the daily hobby recording positioning and the adult-oriented usage scenario of aromatherapy candle products, we do not open service access to any minors. Our team will never actively collect personal information, hobby records and image data of users under 18 years of age.

Once we detect unauthorized usage by minors, we reserve the right to restrict device access, erase all local and cloud journal data, and permanently block related accounts. All illegal usage behaviors and derived legal liabilities shall be borne independently by minors and their legal guardians.

2. Information Collection Scope & Classification

We follow the minimum necessary data principle for hobby journal applications, and only collect two categories of information required to realize journal recording and visualized data statistics functions without redundant data collection:

2.1 User-generated Scent Journal Content

Refers to all original content independently created by users, including photos of scented candles, aromatherapy accessories and related shooting materials, as well as textual records such as fragrance notes, burning time records, usage feelings and daily hobby logs. All content belongs to users’ private hobby data.

2.2 Behavioral & Statistical Derivative Data

The system will collect anonymous usage behaviors such as user recording frequency, update time and favorite tags, and generate exclusive visualized data charts (including usage trend graph, category statistical graph, etc.). All statistical charts and behavioral data are only visible to the corresponding users and will not be displayed publicly by default. In addition, we collect anonymous crash logs to optimize application compatibility.

3. Permissible Data Usage Scenarios

All collected user information will not be used for commercial promotion or cross-functional unauthorized exploitation. The usage scope is limited to the following purposes:

• Store user’s aromatherapy photos and written journals, and support permanent preservation and real-time viewing of historical records;

• Calculate and generate personalized visualized data charts to present users’ daily scent recording habits;

• Fix program bugs, optimize image loading efficiency and data chart rendering speed;

• Analyze anonymous de-identified data to iterate product functions and upgrade journal recording experience;

• Respond to users’ consultation, feedback and after-sales requests submitted via official email;

• Abide by national data security laws and fulfill corresponding legal obligations.

4. Data Storage & User Clearing Authority

User’s private journal content and visualized data charts are stored in encrypted independent server partitions with end-to-end encryption protection to prevent external unauthorized access. Anonymous operation logs are stored separately and cleared automatically every 30 days.

Users enjoy absolute control over all personal journal data: you can edit, replace or delete single journal entries and photos at any time, and clear all historical records and statistical data in one click. After the user deletes the content, the platform will completely eliminate relevant data from the server within 24 hours without any backup copies.

5. Third-Party Cooperation & Sharing Rules

The core journal recording and data statistics functions of Brynok operate independently. The application does not integrate any third-party advertising SDK, data analysis plug-ins and external cooperative servers. We adhere to a zero-sharing policy for user private data.

Under no circumstances will we sell, rent or share users’ aromatherapy photos, written journals and private statistical data with any third-party organizations or individuals. The only exception is mandatory data disclosure required by judicial organs and administrative regulatory authorities in accordance with legal procedures.

6. Personal Data Security Protection

We formulate targeted security protection strategies for private hobby journals: implement graded access permissions for internal employees to isolate user private data; conduct regular security vulnerability detection and anti-intrusion testing for storage servers; formulate emergency response plans to deal with unexpected data leakage risks.

Meanwhile, users shall properly keep their account login permissions. The platform is not responsible for private data leakage caused by users’ improper account management and active content sharing.

7. User’s Fundamental Rights

All eligible adult users have the following legitimate rights regarding personal data and journal content:

• Right of Ownership & Management: Own all rights of the created scent journals and visualized data, and manage content freely;

• Right of Access & Query: Check private journals and exclusive statistical data charts at any time;

• Authorization Opt-out Right: Disable partial data collection permissions. Opting out of anonymous log collection will not affect core recording and chart generation functions;

8. Policy Update Mechanism

Our operation team reserves the right to update this privacy policy according to product function iteration and changes in relevant national laws and regulations. The updated clauses will be posted on the privacy page inside the application with an updated timestamp.

Users’ continued use of the scent journal service after the policy update confirms acceptance of the revised terms. If you refuse to accept the updated clauses, you need to stop using the application and cancel your account.
